Dashboards Show the Pipeline.
Inselligence Engineers How It Flows.
Your CRM records the deals. Your dashboards chart them. Neither tells you where the flow breaks, or what to do about it.
Most companies already have the data. Their CRM holds every deal, and dashboard tools such as Power BI or Tableau chart it. Building those dashboards with AI makes them faster to produce, not different in kind: they still chart what the CRM holds. What they lack is a model of how revenue should flow, measured against what is actually happening every day, down to each producer. That is the difference between two dimensional analytics and flow based process intelligence.
The same data, two very different answers.
A weighted pipeline total, built on close dates and stage probabilities entered by reps
A projection in three layers: revenue already closed, what open deals will really produce, and what still has to be created
Charts of what sits in each stage today
Every stage measured against the target flow for that segment: which step is starved, which is clogged, which deals stopped moving
Every open deal counts until someone cleans the data
Deals that stop moving leave the forecast automatically, without touching your CRM, so the number rests on flowing deals only
A coverage ratio someone picks
The feed rate each segment needs to hit its target, and the last date a deal can enter each stage and still close this period
One set of averages across every product, region and customer type
Each segment, by product, region, deal size or customer type, measured against its own targets, so big and small deals never blur into one misleading average
Activity counts and attainment, after the fact
Each producer measured daily, step by step, against target, with a score and the next action that moves their number
Last year plus a growth rate
Quotas and targets set at every level, company, segment, region and producer, from the flow each one can really carry
What a dashboard would have to rebuild, and keep rebuilding.
- A model of flow. Dashboard tools chart the data they are given. Our technology starts from a target model of how revenue should move through each segment of your pipeline, then compares actual against target every day. That comparison is the insight, and no report builder ships with it.
- Reading the system as a whole. A stage full of stale deals looks healthy on a chart. We read volume, conversion, time in step and deal value together, so a forecast carried by a few large deals shows up as fragile, not healthy.
- Segmentation that changes the math. Filtering by product or region is easy. Knowing which numbers can be combined across segments and sales motions, and which cannot, is built into every roll up, from the producer to the president.
- Action, not just visibility. Every producer and manager sees what to do this week, in plain language, from our own technology and an advisor trained on the methodology we design with your team.
What about dashboards built with AI?
AI speeds up building charts, but it does not supply a model of how revenue should flow. You cannot prompt your way to a model nobody designed.
Ask a generative tool the same question twice and you can get two different answers. Inselligence is deterministic: the same data gives the same answer every time, and every line is explainable.
On an engineered process it accelerates good decisions. Without one, it accelerates the noise.
This is not a comparison of two reporting tools. Two dimensional analytics and flow based process intelligence are as different as a bicycle and a car.
